Programmer / Database Administrator / Data Analyst
- Designed Excel spreadsheet applications for data analysis projects.
- Designed and implemented an electronic document control application using Access 2000. This system kept track of revision information for the company’s 5000+ drawings, test procedures, and other computer files.
- Created a routing system for Hardware Trouble Reports. This system used email messages to notify the department heads of new HTRs or updates to existing ones. Organized meetings with TAMSCO staff to determine the proper routing flows and procedures.
- Assisted with the implementation of Visual Enterprise, a complex business software system. It operated on a multi-million record SQL database. I designed around 60 data reports to customize the software for the company’s needs.
- Added features to the Visual system using Visual Basic Script. Designed a routing system for purchase requisitions using VB.
- Trained TAMSCO employees on how to use my newly designed systems, and helped them with their general computer problems.
- Worked extensively with the following applications:
- Microsoft Excel 2002
- Microsoft Access 2002
- Microsoft Outlook 2002
- Microsoft Word 2002
- Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications
