A collection of my work in the University of Montana's Media Arts program, my academic minor.
Based off a Photoshop project that I did previously - this is my first experiment with 3D in After Effects. The music for this is a track that I wrote and recorded earlier.
Watch video (0:30)This was the course's final project. I got the idea for it by staring at the classroom's ceiling trying to think up an idea.
Watch video (2:00)This was shot on location in the campus heating plant. I worked with a team of four others to produce it. Yes, that's me playing the part of the mad scientist.
Watch video (4:45)The assignment was to create a short piece based from a haiku. I don't remember what my haiku was, but it had something to do with getting stuck in a rut. Thanks to Kris Nord for helping me out with this.
Watch video (1:34)I created this using footage from my morning walk to class. I wasn't sure what the final result would be until I started putting the various clips together.
Watch video (1:21)Most projects that I have worked on in After Effects have been video based. I decided to do something different with this project and do animation instead. I made heavy use of scripting to achieve the bouncing and jiggling effects. The video is meant to be played in an infinite loop.
